Hello! It’s another FO!
Look at it! I’m honestly so incredibtly proud I actually managed to finish this project! Before this project I didn’t crochet much, but ever since I started this project my love for crochet has grown immensely!
The pattern is by Happy in Red (click for pattern) and its super easy! All it takes is 5 colors in Scheepjes Alpaca Rhythm and Mohair Rhythm and a 3mm crochet hook.
I chose my colors last year in November and I felt like warm and sunny colors, and I’m really happy with the happy vibes this thing gives off <3
I’m so excited about this project! I finished it a while ago and I put it in a nice bath, but then I went to look for my blocking wires and I couldnt find them. So I took the shawl out of the bath and squeezed the excess water out and went on a hunt for my blocking wires.
Unfortunately for me I never managed to find them so I bought myself a new kit. The whole search for blocking wires took me about two to three weeks because everything always gets in the way, so now that it’s FINALLY blocked and done I’m really super excited 🙂
This ball of fluff is going to be showcased in the shop and during those cold winter months it’s going to keep me warm in there 🙂
I’m working on these socks right now and I’m super excited about them! I chose the wrong color for the afterthought heel, so I’ll have to take very good care picking up the stitches for the heel 🙂
I absolutely love how this sock is turning out! On the left you see the bottom and the right you see the top side of the first sock 🙂 It’s so amazing to see how these parts of the houses, the moon, the lights, the witch and everything else is knitting up in these socks. They’re going to be fraternal obviously, but I don’t care! These socks are going to be super amazing!
I urge you to go ahead and click on THIS LINKY RIGHT HERE. Valerie is an amazing and talented young lady and her sockblacks kick total BUTT!
I know I said I wasn’t allowed to knit anything for myself from the stash, but that’s not completely true: I’m only allowed to knit socks 🙂 so there 🙂
